The sensitivity the player sometimes has to ebony no longer exists with Nero! If you experience discomfort with the ebony chinrest, button, or fingerboard, Nero may solve that problem! In the manufacture of the material, so much pressure and heat is applied to the resins and Eucalyptus paper that all allergens and toxins are gone from the finished product!
Discover affordable, high-quality alternatives to traditional ebony fittings.
Designs that are practical for the maker, dealer, or aficionado. Fingerboards are in “slap-on” shape, close to standard dimensions for a finished fingerboard so work is minimized for planing scraping, and fitting. Pegs have a pre-finished diameter so only reaming of holes, drilling the hole for the string, and finishing the ends is necessary. Because Nero’s material is 100% consistent, the problems with inconsistency inherent in natural wood product does not exist in Nero Fittings.
Nero’s Surface wear is significantly better than Ebony, in addition, Nero is not sensitive to any temperature or humidity fluctuations.
Responsible Affordable Elegance
